Donnie Davis Memorial Fund:

Updated: May 17

April 2021

Dear Ministry Partners,

Donnie Davis Memorial Fund:

On March 30th we remembered a dear friend and supporter to the ministry here in the Dominican Republic. The first time Donnie came to visit us, he raised the funds to purchase a guitar for a church leader. We presented this guitar to Freddy of Baruco. However, we did not know that God would call Donnie home to heaven at 53 years of age. At his funeral his dear wife, Leasa and family set up a memorial fund in his honor. Through this fund we are continuing our ministry efforts here in the Dominican Republic (If you would like to contribute to the ministry efforts here in the Dominican Republic please click the following link and select “Memory of Donnie Davis”).

Haitian Creole Ministry:

In the month of March, we were blessed to have veteran missionary, Rodney Fitzsimmons from Haiti. He and his wife served for 33 years in Haiti as a church planter. He was here for two weeks and I had him teach and preach over 16 times in 5 locations. We saw 18 professions of faith, in three different churches along with a tremendous impact in all 3 of our Haitian Seminary campuses! In fact, Bro. Rodney is returning the last two weeks of May in order to teach in both Haitian Seminaries, and to provide private teaching to the pastors and leaders of Santiago.

Child Development Center Scheduled to Reopen: April 13th

We are praying that all goes well, to reopen the Child Development Center. The country is still requiring “at-home” schooling, but we are praying the government will allow the children to go back to school. However, in the meantime our children’s director in Barrio Nuevo is having a great time on Wednesday nights!

Youth Services:

We relaunched our youth services on Friday night with our new ministry intern, Onelvis. We have experienced great excitement, new young people and most important the teaching of the Word of God.

God bless you and thanks for your faithful prayers and financial support!
