In All Places of His Dominion

Dear Partners,

This past week we sent relief to the families of the mountain church in Vallecito. We are so thankful for the generosity of those who gave so that we could send much needed help to these dear families that live so far from civilization. We know that God works in all places of His dominion and we are so thankful that we had the ability to share in this work.

Pastor Smith Dumont has also received relief funds as well. He is the director of our Bible Institute in Haitian Creole; he also pastors a church in Santiago as well as a Christian school. However, since there have been no services or children attending school there have been no offerings or tuition received.

Similar to the US, the Dominican Republic is shut down with great fear. However, I hope that the country will start to reopen at the end of May. We continue to pray that God will provide a vaccine. According to we have suffered 301 deaths from a total of 6,972 cases from a population of just under 11 million people. But the greater difficulty is those who can not work, because the Dominican Republic does not have unemployment benefits or government assistance.

We believe God is in control and He will be exalted and glorified through this pandemic. He has dominion over all things. (Ps. 103:22) Thank you for your prayers and support.
